This weekend
I am honored to say that I spoke on a panel with wonderful Advocates against
Domestic Violence but....I realize that deep in my soul there has been a
question that continues to haunt me.
What do you tell a victim or a survivor who, ABUSER IS An
OFFICER OF THE LAW? Where can they go for help? Where can they hide? Where is
it safe for them? What can I tell them?!
Does our
government truly hear our cries? Will you
continue to ignore us? We need your
help!
